Cookie Policy — Source Leak Detection
Last updated 21 February 2026
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to help site owners understand how the site is used. Below is a plain-language explanation of how Source Leak Detection uses cookies and what choices you have.
The three categories
- Necessary — required for the site to function. We use one necessary cookie,
slddc, to remember your cookie-preference choice for 1 year so we don't re-prompt you on every visit. This category cannot be disabled. - Analytics — only set with your consent. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. Data is aggregated and de-identified.
- Marketing — only set with your consent. Used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to retarget site visitors on Meta and Google Ads. This category is only active once the corresponding pixels have been configured.
Specific cookies we may set
| Cookie | Category | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
slddc | Necessary | Stores your cookie consent choices | 1 year |
_ga, _ga_* | Analytics | Google Analytics 4 session and user identification | Up to 2 years |
_fbp | Marketing | Meta Pixel — set only after consent, once configured | 3 months |
| Google Ads conversion linker | Marketing | Attributes conversions to Google Ads — set only after consent | Up to 90 days |
